  Your Gardening Journal is a software application that enables you to track changes in your garden over a period of time. As well as tracking changes you can also report on them. For example, you might wish to know the average rainfall in your garden last February. Or when exactly did you plant out those broad beans. And what variety were they two years ago? What was the maximum temperature during August? What days were the coolest last week? Once the data is in the program you can find the answer to lots of questions! Your Gardening Journal will give you the information you need to improve your gardening by using past details to guide you in the future.

Other sorts of information can be stored also. If you use a spread-sheet program or word processor, you can store links to the files in your notes.

If you have a digital camera you can store up to four pictures for each day and have a visual record of your garden over time.
